Julius Caesar: Pontifex Maximus

Domus Publica: home of the Pontifex Maximus

My fellow Roman citizens, I would like to announce that I, Julius Caesar, have been recently elected as the pontifex maximus, or the high Roman priest, in the year 63 A. D. This is truly a great honor for me, and I will not disappoint my dear Roman friends.

    Caesar, I cannot thank you enough for your kind words! You are a fantastic leader, and I am sure you will gain great popularity from being at the games. I love being a Vestal, as I mentioned before, it's a great honor which I enjoy very much. Good luck with your Pontifex Maximus jobs! I know they can at times be quite difficult.
